AC Golden Brewing Company – Golden, CO: Our brew house consists of three small, 30-barrel Huppmann copper kettles, imported from Germany in 1973. Our brewery was established to create specialty beers for discriminating beer drinkers. Our lagers are brewed at an altitude of 5,707 feet above sea level by brewers, not computers.

Bonfire Brewing – Eagle, CO: Bonfire Brewing began in a garage. With a few 5-gallon buckets and some extracts, tolerable beer was soon regularly on-hand for friends and family. But, we found ourselves asking out loud, “Why bottle and make all that mess when you can keg, and more importantly, kegerate?” With some extensive (Google and Homebrewtalk.com) research, a bit of amateur welding, and only a few electrocutions, a 10-gallon all-grain system was born.
Boulder Beer – Boulder, CO: In 1979 two professors at the University of Colorado received the 43rd brewing license issued in the United States, creating Boulder Beer Company, Colorado’s First Microbrewery. The original site of the brewery was a small farm northeast of Boulder, the brew house sharing space in a shed originally housing a few goats!
Breckenridge Brewery & Pub – Denver, CO: Back in the 1980s, our founder Richard Squire was your typical ski bum – with one significant difference. He had a knack for making extraordinary home brews. For years, only his closest friends were able to enjoy his creations, but it didn’t take long for Richard to realize that his talents needed to be shared with the world.

Coors Archive Brewing Company - Golden, CO: 1919, beer was banned. Barrels were broken. Breweries went belly up. Drinking a beer became an act of protest against those in power. Front Range Brewing – Lafayette, CO: Front Range Brewing Company does not specialize in any one style of beer or try to fit into any one particular niche. Golden City Brewery – Golden, CO: Founded in 1993 by two geologists, Charlie & Janine Sturdavant. They filled the old machine shop behind their historic Golden home with used dairy tanks and Charlie began brewing German-style ales.
